Maqraa Program – Qur’an Recitation & Correction Hub

Introduction
The Maqraa Program at Darul Hikmah Islamic Centre is a dedicated online Qur’an recitation platform designed especially for sisters who wish to improve their recitation with proper pronunciation (Makharij). It provides a structured and supportive environment where students can recite the Qur’an and receive live corrections from qualified teachers.

Currently operating for extended daily hours, the program is gradually moving towards a 24/7 accessibility model, allowing sisters to connect at times most convenient for them, regardless of their location.

Program Overview

This is an online Qur’an recitation and correction service where students can join available sessions, recite their assigned portion, and receive immediate feedback from experienced teachers.

The focus is on:

  • Correcting Makharij (pronunciation of letters)

  • Improving fluency and confidence

  • Strengthening Tajweed rules through practical recitation

Who Can Join

  • Muslim women (generally 15 years and above)

  • Students at beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels

  • Anyone seeking to improve their Qur’an recitation
